Established by Mrs. Joan Hanna in 1972, Travellers' Rest offers authentic Bahamian cuisine and tropical drinks, enjoyed as you relax on a breezy terrace and listen to the gentle sounds of the sea. Paintings, most of which were painted by local artists, adorn the walls and Androsia, the native cotton batik produced on the island of Andros, adds colour and vibrancy to the table settings and bar trim.

Lunches at Travellers' Rest cost between $10.50 and $29.00 and dinners, which are served from 5.30pm until 10.00pm, average $13.50 to $31.00
Travellers' Rest is open from 11.30am to 11.00pm every day of the week.
